We’ve had reports that some digital asset wallets cannot transfer ETH to our EDEX ETH deposit addresses due to the default lowercase characters.
According to Metamask, the current version of Ethereum addresses are case-insensitive and therefore it is safe to use the ETH deposit addresses generated by EDEX.
For example, address 0x6eaff3479c17b8e7a0069823dc87bab09fbf4549 is valid. For more discussions on EIP-55, read here.
Step 1. To solve the problem of wallets not recognising the EDEX ETH deposit addresses, please copy that related lowercase address on EDEX and paste it on Etherscan.io ; Example: 0x7185d023eda540ecb9d6af747146f96fa04306a6
Step 2. Then copy the mixed Uppercase + lowercase ETH address from Etherscan.io to your external wallet and then press SEND. Example: 0x7185d023eDa540EcB9d6Af747146F96FA04306a6
