29 JANUARY 2020 (2.20PM GMT) STELLAR (XLM) WITHDRAWAL ISSUES – NEW UPDATES

After much deliberation with our engineers and management team at https://edexchange.io and to ensure funds are secure, EDEX encourages users to withdraw XLM to a XLM address that you own (with official STELLAR wallets).

We do not support direct XLM withdrawals from EDEX to Exchanges / Wallets that require a MEMO ID.

You may find official STELLAR wallets at https://www.stellar.org/lumens/wallets/#web-wallets

For more information, you can email us at officialedex@gmail.com

NOTE: For users who want to transfer XLM to Binance (they require memo IDs) ; this is the correct process flow:

  1. Download an external XLM wallet at official STELLAR wallets ; follow the installation steps on the app (Solar, Lobstr, or Keybase). Please save your passwords or seed words on Lastpass. You will lose your assets if you forgot the password + seed words. We are not responsible for your losses if you do not follow the steps correctly.
  2. Copy the XLM address, on the app (Solar, Lobstr, or Keybase).
  3. Withdraw XLM (at EDEX) to the XLM address on your own external XLM wallet (Solar, Lobstr, or Keybase).
  4. Once the XLM has been deposited to the external XLM wallet, withdraw XLM to a Binance XLM deposit address (please follow the steps carefully as Binance requires a MEMO ID). We are not responsible for your losses at Binance if you do not follow the steps correctly.
